Asus Eee pc to come as desktop

Asus Eee pc

After the success of Eee PC notebook, ASUS has decided to increase their risk quotient. Apparently the firm is working on a desktop version of Eee PC targeted toward budget users who want to buy a less-powerful machine for small price. One of them major reason for this development is the success of Eee PC brand which could help company gain some momentum "since it is currently not seeing outstanding performance in the desktop PC market."

I am a bit sceptical about cheap desktop because generally consumer prefers relatively powerful home PC. But if they can offer good configuration at a consumer friendly pricepoint then they'll not face much problem selling Eee desktop.
